Id (The Unknown and The Unconscious) 'Doodles'

At various times with various materials I drew the following sketches. Again, there was no subject to draw. They were done in a short space of time with little conscious thought so as to get an unconscious result. Whether they look like anything in particular is pure chance and this is not a negative. I find that people always try to look for a reality within a drawing, even when the composition is abstract. These images could be said to represent the Id part of the brain although there was some conscious thought involved. I must continue to draw in another way so as to get closer to the Id. Use body parts to draw? What part of the body best represents the Id?






For the above image I swung my pen from left to right to left to right etc in a fast motion just connecting with the paper beneath.
