Drawing with 'as little thought as possible'

These drawings were done by a variety of people. They were given a simple instruction by myself to simply 'draw with as little thought as possible'. There was no particular subject to draw. Sounds quite easy doesn't it? I have found that it is in fact quite a difficult way of drawing as your ego comes into play. This is the conscious part of the brain which most immediately controls thoughts and behaviours. I have decided to experiment more involving different variables in an attempt to release the ego from the work.

Some people draw differently from others. Some chose to draw a subject others chose to attempt to draw without thinking at all. I find both types of drawing really interesting and aesthetically pleasing.
